We refuse to wait for change — we build it. Melinda is Co-President of Women in Innovation (WINN) and Co-Chair of the Fearless Innovators Grant Program (FI), leading brand, campaigns, and events that deliver measurable results. Under her direction, WINN memberships have grown by more than 500% since 2022, while FI has already attracted over 400 applicants and distributed $240,000+ in funding to women-led ventures. Campaigns across both platforms have delivered more than 1.5 million impressions with record-breaking engagement — proof of what happens when creative action meets equity.
From schools to healthcare, we create campaigns that shift culture — and sometimes save lives. For Walford Anglican School for Girls, the Her Best campaign empowered the next generation to lead with both compassion and confidence. With Flinders Medical Research Foundation, we originated Bras Off for Breast Cancer Research — reframing women’s health through courage and action. And for Nightingale Cardiology, we led a Women’s Heart Health campaign that reached 100,000+ women in just six weeks, sparking urgent conversations about symptoms that too often go unrecognised or misdiagnosed.
We built AdChat to give women in advertising and the creative industries a louder voice. Part podcast, part cultural platform, it features leaders across photography, film & television, music, fashion, design, digital games & interactive media, and immersive tech.
Despite this breadth, 85% of leadership roles remain male-dominated. AdChat challenges that imbalance, sparking industry-wide conversations and building a global stage. The platform is now scaling into an international exhibition and publication, launching in London and New York in 2026, continuing to make women’s creative leadership unmissable.
Equity takes resources — and we back our leadership with both. Since 2000, Oranje has invested more than $2 million in value and 15,000+ hours in pro bono creative action, underwriting brands, campaigns, and events so women’s platforms deliver professional-grade impact without the barrier of cost.
The results speak for themselves: WINN’s social reach grew 941% organically, without a single paid ad. Our email campaigns consistently achieve 41–45% open rates — more than double the nonprofit average — and 12% click-throughs, four times the industry benchmark. In short, our work doesn’t just reach women, it moves them — proving that creative action can spark real behaviour change and measurable equity outcomes.
Most of our clients are women — founders, innovators, and leaders who are redefining industries. From solo entrepreneurs to national institutions, we create brands and campaigns that reflect women’s realities, not stereotypes. This matters because globally, women make 89% of consumer purchasing decisions, yet 91% say advertising doesn’t understand them. At Oranje, we change that — building creative strategies that resonate authentically and put women’s voices at the centre.
Equity starts at home. At Oranje, we’ve built a culture where people can grow, thrive, and step confidently into their next chapter. Our average team tenure is more than seven years — proof of loyalty and stability — supported by a flexible, family-friendly culture long before it was mainstream. We’ve always invested in professional development, supported side projects, and celebrated career transitions. Recently, our team expanded with Scott — our first Oranje male, IT guru, bringing digital smarts and admirable patience with our circle of women.
